Hello and welcome to my first blog.
I have been asked why I called my coaching company "Jacaranda Tree Coaching"and the answer lies back in my childhood in Kenya.
I had a Jacaranda tree in my garden that bloomed wildly with its vivid lilac/purple flowers in October every year until the branches were heaving down with the fragrant flowers. I used to lie on the grass and look up at the magnificent purple cloud draped above me and I was transported into a place of wonder where all time stood still.
Wonder is defined as a feeling of amazement caused by something beautiful or a desire to know something and feel curious.
For me that is the beauty of Coaching. Uncovering the part of you that still sees the world as a place of wonder, just as a child might run towards a new playground eager to explore and open to all possibilities.
